Halo was written by Ryan Tedder, Evan Bogart and Beyonce Knowles for her third album I Am... Sasha Fierce. For the first time Beyonce performed "Halo" at the NAACP Awards, where she won prize Outstanding Female Artist.
This single was released in USA in 2009. At MTV Music Europe Award Halo won Best Song, at the 52nd Grammy Award this single won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
