Lil Wayne’s delayed album released by accident

Lil WayneWhile most of Lil Wayne's fans will have to stay pending at least February for the rapper's regularly-promised and often-delayed cassette, about 500 Amazon customers who pre-ordered "Rebirth" are enjoying the chronicle already, thanks to a shipping calamity.

According to sources and an e-post to Billboard from an Amazon patron, the online merchant sent copies of the cassette to some customers who pre-ordered "Rebirth." The cassette began arriving in mailboxes on Monday, December 14, despite a change in the street year from December 21 to February 1.

Metallica, Slayer to tour together

SlayerHeavy metal's Big Four -- Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax -- will harass together in 2010. In Europe, at slightest.

After weeks of rumors, the four bands have announced they'll take part in the itinerant Sonisphere festival, opening June 16 in Warsaw and continuing June 19 in Prague. More Big Four Sonisphere performances are probable to be announced in the upcoming weeks; the festival's Web locate (sonisphere.com) presently lists 15 dates, including two-night stands in Sofia, Bucharest, Istanbul, and Knebworth, U.K.

ABBA, Stooges to apply to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

AbbaThe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame gave a big "Thank You For The Music" to ABBA on Tuesday, announcing that the Swedish pop group would be among its 2010 inductees.

British astounded strap Genesis, reggae celebrity Jimmy Cliff, rockers The Stooges, and The Hollies are also among the myths who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony on March 15 in New York.

Mariah Carey to start tour on December 31

Mariah CareyMariah Carey will launch her first North American tour in more than three living on December 31 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The eight-week, 19-city "Angels Advocate" tour will wrap on February 27 at The Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas. Tickets for the mass of the shows will go on retailing on Saturday.
